I was approved for a book today sent it to kindle and am still waiting after 6 hours and its not even showing in my Amazon docs I did speak to Amazon but not much help given !! I restarted my kindle more than once , sent the book 3 times still nothing, I have 300 approved without any issues so am reaching out for any help please as I will be lost if I can't get my NetGalley fix !!!

This happened to me too. I contacted Amazon customer service and they said it was a problem they were aware of and are working to fix at the moment. So it's not just you and it should be working again eventually. They said they'd email me when it was back up.
Sarah that's a real comfort as Amazon wasn't that helpful but are calling me back tomorrow so if you do hear anything I would appreciate a heads up. :)
I have the same problem, approved for three books, sent them to my kindle, and can't find them in my documents.
Lately I’ve been getting emails when sending any docs to my Kindle where it tells me that I have to verify that I requested this document to be sent to my Kindle. Once I click “Verify Request” button in the email the document is delivered.
I called Amazon, the lady told me that she can only see the books I have bought and she can't access to my documents folder.
I also have an Edelweiss account and have the same problem. I emailed NetGalley to make them aware of the problem, maybe everyone having issues should do the same and they might be able to work out whats gone wrong?
I am getting both NetGalley and Edelweiss docs. Like I said in my previous comment, check your email (the one that you use for Amazon), including your Spam, to see if you have an email from Amazon Kindle Support asking your to Verify that you Requested a document to be sent to your Kindle.
Same issue.Downloaded a book from EW & NG today & neither has shown up. Nothing in my Spam folder, no email from EW like I usually get & neither is showing on Amazon under Manage My Content & Documents under docs. I’ll reach out if it doesn’t get corrected by tomorrow.
Other readers I know with this issue were asked to remove all approved senders they no longer receive books from. If you have too many - and I don't know what number this constitutes - it can cause hiccups with downloads.
I just worked for NetGalley approved for The Island Girls downloaded it and it went to my documents in my kindle account.
I have just sent to my kindle once more and this time it worked with no problem so I think it’s definitely an Amazon problem and I will speak to them again as it’s strange that all the times I tried to send the book yesterday it didn't work. I have also emailed NetGalley to tell them of my difficulties.
Sorry that was meant to say that all the times I tried to send the book to kindle yesterday It didn’t work nor did it appear in my Amazon docs, yet this morning no problem !!
