Please help, I have a book stuck in my head but I can’t find it.

I pasted it over at first, it was on my recommended list, now it’s gone.

Young woman goes for a meeting with a rich man, it’s an interview to be his wife.

She’s only doing it for the money to take care of her little brother.

He says she’s no suitable as his wife, but he’d give her the money for her brother, she turns it down.

Please say someone has read, heard of it
