Jordyn (bookishadventures) | 30 comments Just let me know what you think about it. It's more of my bland/depressing writing. I also have to think if I want to continue my werewolf one, Just Another Story:

Sarah, 16, is in her Junior Year at High School in the dreary, deserted town of Palouse, Washington. Everything is dull and boring, go to school, come home, get on the computer, play games, go for a run in the woods at the back of the property. But what would happen if this all changed?
Jamie, a 18-year-old vampire, in his Senior year, obviously takes the role as 'bad boy', turns up in Sarah's math and health class. What is she going to do? Well, freak of course! As she inspects the intruder more thoroughly, she discovers more than she'd bargained or even expected.

It sounds pretty cool. Are you planning on writing it, or is it just an idea?

message 108: by Jade (new)

Jade kinda like twilight, but it sounds cool! you should continue it!

Jordyn (bookishadventures) | 30 comments I HAD the first two chapters, but when my computer crashed, I lost the second chapter, and the first chapter I couldn't back into. So I had to delete it. I have a copy of the first chapter on my email, I just have to get it off of it. That's the best place to store things, I think. The whole 'copy it to a CD' gig only works for pictures....-.-'
But I'll try and post it sometime this week.

Oh. That's to bad that your computer crashed.

Jordyn (bookishadventures) | 30 comments I had AVG, and it wasn't protecting me, ended up getting a nasty virus, and I got screwed over. I liked having Norton, it at least scanned my computer even if I didn't have the full version....>.<

Jordyn (bookishadventures) | 30 comments Sorry computer jargon...

I got a new idea!! I was awake at three thirty in the morning of Black Friday, driving into town and I sudden got this Werewolf idea:

Mia has been sick. Sick with what? Doctors believe its cancer, but no one can tell her right. She doesn't have enough money to support any form of treatment or diagnosis for that matter. Being with her family is the only thing that matters to her.
She has regular attacks and the hospital, which is inconveniently located two towns over and approximately an hours drive away, Mia, at the age of 17, doesn't expect her life to get any better.
But what if the smart pre-adult found out a secret? What if she learned that her most favorite mythical beast existed? Does she really have a chance?

Okay that was a little long and boring, but I have a lot of information and ideas swimming around in my head about it...

Jordyn (bookishadventures) | 30 comments Yeah, and my friend gave me a heads up about lukimia, bone cancer, and stomach cancer. If anyone has any thought to a long-term, fatal diseases that have the symptoms of: aches, pains, distressfulness, nausea, and lightheadedness. Maybe even adding kidney failure or something... That would be awesome! ^.^

Jordyn (bookishadventures) | 30 comments Yeah. Well, only one book. I still have to buy the rest of them. The library doesn't have them, so I have to buy them for myself. But the one I read was really good. I just don't play SRPs... Sorry.

Jordyn (bookishadventures) | 30 comments There a really, REALLY good series about a cat, in the view point of this cat, that lives in a clan and is working his way up through the ranks to help his clan. There are other clans and what not that sometimes they fight and sometimes they help.
I'm sure Madhins can explain it a bit better, but from the one book I read, I still LOVE the series and am going to eventually buy it.

I've read them. I read them till a few into the third or fourth series. Then, sorry, but I got sick of them.

Jordyn (bookishadventures) | 30 comments Fine by me. At least you got a taste of them.
Another series I like is the Anita Blake series by Laurell K Hamilton. You have to be sorta into her writing to like the books, like a couple of my friends can't read her work because they don't like the new format (but these are people who prefer the original Dracula).

Those are good books. Very easy reads, but still good.

message 133: by Jordyn (new)

Jordyn (bookishadventures) | 30 comments Well, long time no talk... I think another good series is Rachal Vincent's werecat series, the first book is called Stray, second is Rogue, and Pride is the third book. The fourth one should be out though...

Stray (Shifters, #1) by Rachel Vincent
