Hey y'all So i recently started reading the maze runner but got maybe 1/4 of the way in and just lost interest and stopped reading it like I really wanna read it but don't..
Any suggestions or encouragement to read it? or should I just leave it as a lost cause? Thank yous :)

Lol ya. I have to say, I think the Maze Runner movies were the worst book to movie adaptation I've ever seen. The movies were terrible on their own, and they didn't even sort of follow the plot of the books. It's like they had someone read a summary of the books and then make a movie of them. I was in physical pain while watching them lol.
Soo I am only on the first Maze runner book bc my FRIEND IS NOT GIVING ME THE SECOND ONE. she is supposedly " still reading it" The first book had been just sitting on my shelf. Lol

In my opinion, the books are infinitely better lol. I watched the movies right after I finished reading all the books, and struggled to get through them because they did a pretty poor job translating the books to the movies.
I'm currently reading maze runner 1
ok.. I read the 1st book and the scorch trials. In the book 1, I was a huge Teresa fan. But after reading the scorch trials.. I was like.... Teresa?????!!!! And then I read the death cure half way.. but had to stop coz I got some other books to read on time. But from the beginning of the death cure, I was like.. Poor Thomas.
But Teresa's betrayal was just an act wasn't it?
yeah.. she's a jerk, but...... I refuse to agree.....😭😭

Honestly, I think Teresa was... Ok, I don't know how to describe her. I just finished The Fever Code a couple of days ago, and I am still confused. I agree with message 70~72 :). (I think Teresa was a backstabber. Still really, really angry at her, even though she is dead.)

Personally I think the books can't even b compared to the films

Yes! I absolutely loved the books (well, except some parts) and actually enjoyed the movies. But the two are very different from each other. You should read the Maze Runner!
i totally forgot just about everything that happened since it was a long time ago that i read them, but i remember really enjoying all of the books ahaha
I think Teresa was kinda bland and that whole betrayal thing didn't sit well with me but I COULDN'T STAND BRENDA!

I love Minho and Thomas. I get Minho had a bad temper and was sarcastic but he was loyal.

I know he was added for drama but I coudn't stand him.

One of the things I've noticed is that most of the adults in The Maze Runner are evil.
Not all adults are evil but in Ya dystopian they usually are.
