Why you learn ...
I'm part German, part Irish, part Canadian, and part French. My grandpa grew up in Canada until he was 16 or something and then my grandma (same side of family) came from France at a certain age too. And then the German and Irish are somewhere on the other side of my family.
Awesome! I'm half Polish, 1/4 Lithuanian (they're pretty much the same thing, depending on the era XD) and 1/4 Irish. Polish and Lithuanian on my mom's side, and Polish and Irish on my dad's.
So your mom came from Poland? Or did both of your grandparents on that side came from Poland?

I'm part Scottish, part vampire, part Austrian, part Italian, and part Welsh, and 3.125% part Cherokee.
Ella, all of my grandparents were born here except for my mom's dad, he was born in Lithuania and came when he was like, one or two. I'm not sure. Other than that, I don't know who came here first/who was born where. And yeah, thanks!! Lithuania is pretty much the same thing as Poland, though. I guess because the borders between then kept changing, so depending on what century/decade you were born in decided which one you were.

Duolingo was the most downloaded educational app this year. (Which I only know because I looked up "TfiOS" and clicked "News" and the article included stuff like that.)
Go duelingo! Wow I ate 13 pieces of pizza and still hungry! I'm special. :P
