I hope she didn't change the end because I am going to murder someone.

Nothing, it doesn't matter any more because she said that this book is the second part of the third on Wattpad. I just love the end of the story... I would like to read the same last chapter, the same last line.
I hardly understood the end. They stayed apart for years, they meet again, and what? how do they know it will be better?
Well, you have a good point... it was kind of a dumb decision out of nowhere.. I mean, yeah they meet again and she said that she would marry him after having sex in a bathroom at their best friend's wedding (holy shit, it is crazy now that I think about it).
yes. Before, she left before they were damaging each other (the first decision with a touch of common sense in the books); now she sees him after 3 or 4 years and grasps she really loves him. But the same infernal circle will start again! And Anna Todd wants to write another book about Liam and his wife, that is why she did not say whom he married...
Yeah! I remember that from her last author's note but right now she is writing before and never... so I don't think we are going to read Liam's story soon
oh my god the cycle never seems to end with these two! suddenly they split up and hardin is now perfect for her? I'm all for happy endings but this seems a little far out
I haven't read all the published books. But, for your comment I think it ends like the ones on Wattpad...
I think the most interesting side of the story is that it shows the good and bad sides of wattpad. You may get famous, people read the updates like a series, they don't complain about the style, as they do not read the previous pages again, they don't mind long books or repetitions. Problem: when it's published, those hidden problems are shown in bright light...
You guys are actually factually not correct. The decision to get back together was not a spontaneous one. At the time of publishing of Hardin’s book, Tessa was ready to reunite, as Hardin has changed. She wanted from him the stability and emotional support which she was getting from Zed and Robert. And Hardin was finally able to give it.Ironically, she does not reunite because of the book. But it is not true that they didn’t see each other. They met in Chicago about 7 months before Landon’s wedding and hooked up.
Then at the wedding, Tessa admits that she was wrong to listen to voices inside her head about Hardin’s book and that she is sorry. She also forgave Hardin his past “sins” as she has completely changed. And she has also grown to the point that she is able to integrate love with her needs for independence and autonomy.
From Hardin’s side, he was ready to reunite since a long while - always. But Tessa held it back until she was sure. And she was sure not because of the bathroom sex, but because of everything - longing for it for a long time, being only OK and not happy for a long time, Hardin’s beautiful confession of his love in his speech and ofc the sex.
So the ending was well deserved and not a rush thing putting them back into the cycle.
