ABANDONED. book i can’t remember the name of

i read this book a long time ago and i don’t remember the name just the plot pls help me!!

so it’s about this younger girl and i think she was poor and this older rich guy name Ray takes her in and pays for her to go school and they develop a sexual relationship and i remember the character Ray had a heart condition that he was hiding from her. And Ray is mostly in her flashbacks and the only think i remember is Ray having a problem with his heart and hes in the washroom with his housekeeper and the heroine is trying to get into it and he just says “Fuck off, kitten”

also i remember her and ray sitting at the dinner table and they get into an argument and he gives in and they have sex.
