Either he's a dimwit, or we need to start opting for bras in our local elementary schools. :)

Oh, Jeez. Did I forget to mention that there is a guy that sometimes comes to this group? He now knows interesting details about the ladies I hang out with. XD

message 109: by [deleted user] (new)

Wow bookgeek delete that comment. Your friends probably don't want their boobies described on the internet.

I personally prefer to hang out with my guy friends. They listen, they laugh, they're not afraid to do something really dumb and they make me laugh because the conversations are not all serious and what not.

message 110: by [deleted user] (new)

This is why I prefer guy friends they don't don't sell you out.

BookGeek's not a sell out. And having a guy friend is great, but it depends on the guy. Between 15-20 year olds, they can be a little hormonal, even though it's not their fault. I mean, bodily functions may be mentioned in those conversations. :S

And it can be hard to have profound conversations without any innuendo or ulterior motives. But with the girls you can just hang out. *leans back and props legs up*

Until someone gets oversensitive, or high maintenance. >.> Then I'm hanging out with the guys again.

message 113: by [deleted user] (new)

Yup I'm not saying BookGeeks a sellout it's just sometimes chicks can be pain in the ass then I find my guy friends and hang out with them

message 114: by Vivi (new)

Vivi | 1348 comments Guy friends are always joking around and funny

message 115: by [deleted user] (new)

Exactly girls can be bitchy. No offense to any one but some times I need a break from female drama.

message 118: by [deleted user] (new)

I better go, today is not a good day for me. I'm feeling paranoid, and sensitive. :/ I like to recognize my high maintenance-ness before I say something stupid.

message 122: by [deleted user] (new)

No worries! My emo-ness was only temporary. :D

*Does something very non-emo*

message 123: by Vivi (new)

Vivi | 1348 comments what's wrong with being emo?

message 124: by [deleted user] (new)

Nothing, it's just not me. And too much of anything is bad, so if BG has a lot of emo friends it can be a bit much.

message 125: by Vivi (new)

Vivi | 1348 comments yeah, i used to see a friend 6 days out of the week and never got tired of it

message 126: by ♥Jenny♥ (new)

No! Don't go Melzz!

message 127: by ♥Jenny♥ (new)

♥Jenny♥ Vivi wrote: "what's wrong with being emo?"

Nothing, it's just that everybody is trying to do it these days, like it's a fad or something. But I will never go emo.

message 128: by [deleted user] (new)

♥Jenny♥ wrote: "No! Don't go Melzz!"

No worries, I came back. :)

I keep hearing conflicting things on what "emo" is exactly.

message 129: by [deleted user] (new)

Vivi wrote: "who likes chinese food"

I love chemically enhanced cancer food!

Emo by my definition is like some of my dear friends who shank themselves.

message 131: by Vivi (new)

Vivi | 1348 comments what's emo music

message 132: by [deleted user] (new)

Vivi wrote: "what's emo music"

Music that inspires you to shank yourself. Umm like Nirvana and heavy metal no rap music that's white trash not emo.

message 136: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't listen to music like that I'm not emo.

message 137: by Vivi (new)

Vivi | 1348 comments i listen to all types of music, except jazz and classics

message 138: by [deleted user] (new)

message 139: by Vivi (new)

Vivi | 1348 comments i sometimes can't understand what their saying

message 140: by [deleted user] (new)

What exactly is "shank"?

♥Jenny♥ wrote: "Ambizzle wrote: "Vivi wrote: "what's emo music"

What exactly is "shank"?"

A shank is a home-made weapon. Originally it was a prison made weapon out of plastic spoons and stuff. But it's a self made knife or weapon.

♥Jenny♥ Ambizzle wrote: "♥Jenny♥ wrote: "Ambizzle wrote: "Vivi wrote: "what's emo music"

So how do you shank yourself?

message 145: by [deleted user] (new)

You take you your shank and create lacerations on your flesh with it.

message 146: by ♥Jenny♥ (new)

♥Jenny♥ Ambizzle wrote: "You take you your shank and create lacerations on your flesh with it."

Oh. So, basically just cutting yourself? Okay, I got ya.

message 147: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes but shanking yourself is cutting yourself with a homemade weapon

message 148: by ♥Jenny♥ (new)

♥Jenny♥ Oh, okay. I don't know how to make a "shank", and I would never cut myself. Does that mean that I don't have the qualifications to become "emo"?

message 149: by [deleted user] (new)

pretty much

message 150: by ♥Jenny♥ (new)

♥Jenny♥ Darn. jk Well, what if I listen to heavy metal and I wear all black?
