Jim Henderson | 3 comments What is the typical format for a book summited to request beta readers? Pdf, Kindle, etc? If a true ebook format, what's the best too late get it there?

Tomas Grizzly | 31 comments What I've seen so far, PDF and MS Word are favored the most. Some people use cloud-hosted files (such as Google Docs).
E-book formats might be good for reading but they're not that comfortable for making notes on the spot while the previous three options allow in-text comments.

When I beta-read, I prefer Word because I can make marginal notes without touching the base text.
