Do you think that it's weird that Jase and Clary still love each other?

I have not actually read City of ashes, but only city of Bones and kind of found out that Clary is jace brother.
So I was hoping that Clary and Simon would be together.

Which leads me to your question Alyssa----- That's weird cause maybe clary loves jace as a brother not a (Eros), so if I start reading City of ashes, then I find out that they are still in Love (eros) , I just quit the book.

Well, keep in mind that Jace and Clary fell completely head-over-heels in love with each other in City of Bones. A love like that can't just fade overnight, no matter what shocking developments are presented.

Please don't quit the series just because of that. Like I said, love doesn't just fade overnight. Give the series a chance and let new relationships develop, it would be a shame to quit so early on! Also, unlike City of Bones, you might find that at the series progresses, there is more focus on the other characters' love stories (making it worth it in my mind).

Later, you find out some stuff that makes it not so weird. like in the third book. I've read the whole series twice, and after you finish the 3rd one, it won"t be grose at all. But i won"t say why. That would spoil it for you. X#

I've also read the whole series twice, and kept going to find out of this was true or not... it is so worth sticking with. And I will give the author that she does a good job of walking the line where the characters are totally creeped out by what they want.

I'm definitely finishing the series now. Exept I have to wait for this one person at the library to turn it in. He takes FOREVER to read. It took me nearly a month before I could get my hands on City of Ashes. I'm just going to ask my parents to give me the whole series for Christmas.
