Quentin Wallace (quentinwallace) No problem! That's one that I've always wanted to read and never got around to it.

Wow, this is also going to be close I believe, what a great competition.

message 58: by Quentin (new)

Quentin Wallace (quentinwallace) Maybe these three should be the picks for the next three months, and just use the poll to determine reading order? Just a thought?

So I will officially close the tie-breaker round at 9am PST tomorrow (the time I get to my computer in the morning), this should also give any night owls a chance to chime in.

Good thought Quentin and I was thinking the same thing yesterday, but for me I know my tastes change from month to month so I might actually nominate/vote another book next month (this is also why I have 5 books half read next to my bed).

Ah, well that's true too, plus if we do nominations every month they may come up again anyway.

BTW, if you are a tad bit shy, go ahead and send me your list directly (had a couple of folks do it that way). I am honest and will record all scoring accurately.

My guess is some will definitely be up next month. Just hit me that also new members would then be able to vote to. Good suggestion though as I was thinking the same thing.

Stephanie (laundry_piles) Well hopefully we all like it, otherwise please don't throw tomatoes at me!

Haha, don't worry, I am always up for a new author. It breaks me out of the comfort zone I get into sometimes.

message 69: by Mike (new)

Mike It looks like this is the last day for the giveaway of Winter People. Nice.

message 70: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (laundry_piles) I've never won any of those giveaways! Have you?

message 71: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (laundry_piles) Deidre ~Young At Heart Mom~ wrote: "I've won three, and two were one after the other. I was really surprised!"

That's exciting!

message 72: by Mike (new)

Mike I won one. It was more of a pamphlet than a book, but it was free and a decent story.

message 73: by Paul (new)

Paul Morabito | 23 comments I never entered but did like around 10 giveaways so far for my stuff. I need to start entering. I don't have the best luck though. I think Fallen Beloved is supposed to start 1/19 if they approve it on time.
