I chose this book because I remember reading these series of books throughout elementary school. I am very excited to be able to look back and remanence on my past days comparing what I know and can apply now compared to then.
Looking back after reading this book now I feel like I definitely have a different outlook on the book now. Looking back, I remember all of the same aspect of the book. Greg the main character is very lazy and often loses his own thoughts. Greg is also a middle kid he has a very spoiled little brother, and an older brother that is not the nicest. Throughout the book Greg is faced with the everyday challenges of junior high, and some include bullying, trying to be cool, attracting girls. Being in a new school where you are at the bottom of a totem pole can be scary. This book helps kids understand that bullying does effect kids in a way.
I would recommend this book to somebody anytime. I think with how politically correct the world is going now a days it Is nice to sometimes get out of that zone and just read a funny interesting book. I know I hated reading when I was younger, and I always remember these books always attracted me and made me want to keep reading.
