word count instead of book count for reading challenge

Hi!
I want to read a book a month at least. Reading The Way of Kings and Words of Radiance makes it almost impossible for me now. Is it 'fair' (I know it is not a game) to count books instead of words/letters/pages for the challenge? Might it be possible to add that option to the challenge? :) That 90.000 words counts as 1 book?

Not that I know of but.....
At the end of the year, Goodreads will send you a fun info page that has much more detail than number of books read. It says longest book, total pages, books by author and a lot more.
