Has been adapted for a different media (film, TV, stage, video game, etc.). 7. Takes place in either a country you've never visited, or a different world. 8. Takes place, primarily, in a capital city. 9. Takes place, mostly, in a rural community. 10. Falls into your favorite sub-genre. 11. Represents a sub-genre that you've never or rarely read. 12. Has won a major book prize (GoodReads, Man Booker, Pulitzer, Hugo/Locus/Nebula, Edgar, etc.) 13. Was written by an author who shares your birth month. 14.
