do both hands play simultaneously with chords, or do you have a left hand accompaniment with a right hand melody?
Well right now my right hand plays a D minor chord and my left hand plays a D

Okay, the left jand mainly just plays Dminor inversions so that's not a problem, the issue is the right hand since the melody and notes are fairly simple, but the timing is tied in a really annoying way
Yeah I hate when that happens. I'm just gonna practice and hopefully I'll get it after a while. I do the right hand by itself, then the left, and then I try, key word, try, to do them together.
that's usually how I do it unless I'm sightreading.
