Hi Niina, we would use either Amazon or World Cat as trusted sources for page counts. I found the hardcover edition (ISBN 070118034X) on World Cat here and it says 419 pages? https://www.worldcat.org/title/diggin...I think 277 pages is for the paperback edition (as per Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Digging-Amer...)
