She still keeps avoiding telling the truth, day after day, and I can feel the distress! Just say it out loud already! When she’s finally going to do it, Sir Francis is first. Mr Western’s reaction is as expected, and I can imagine that the rest of the novel will be about reconciliation and whether Mr Western is willing to forgive or not. I suppose the answer is the former, but we’ll see.
There were times when I just wanted to tell her. Just do it. Don't wait. But it was really a difficult time waiting for the axe to fall. The build up of the suspense was unbearable.
