Reverse-Narnia- Is there something like this?

Has anyone ever written a book or series that is basically 'reverse-Narnia'? Meaning, four or so children from a fantasy world come to our world and have to navigate living here and having non-magical adventures?

I have an idea for a series like this and want to avoid repeating what someone else has already done.

I’ve never heard of such a thing so while I don’t know everything (quite the opposite actually) you’re probably safe. The closest there is to a reverse Narnia series is His Dark Materials which is still magical just anti religion. Even if there is something like what you’re describing write it anyway. There are no original ideas left in the world. Everything is a copy of something else nowadays. Even Harry Potter isn’t as unique, new and different as people pretend. It copies plenty of famous and some not so famous fantasy stories, yet people still love it for reasons unknown to me. So feel free to write your story, enjoy it and don’t worry a bit about whether it’s been done before or not.
