If you're in the mood for a lighthearted but entertaining novel, I suggest Attachments by Rainbow Rowell. If you're looking to reflect on concepts like life and death but not too philosophically, then I suggest Looking for Alaska. I've never read the others, but I'm planning to buy We Were Liars next.

all those books are great but i think you should pick paper towns first because it will be a movie :)
