Stephen (stephenT) Well from Kentucky, I can assure ye that Bung Hole is an actual word meaning something I bet you can't guess.

message 3: by Julie (new)

Julie | 568 comments It's the stopper part of a barrel that hold wine or whiskey or something, right?

message 4: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) Ding ding ding ding! Julie gets it in one. Kentucky has many bung holes lolol Read that as you may.

message 5: by Julie (new)

Julie | 568 comments But I could have just looked it up online and come back with that to sound all smart.
Though, does knowing what a bung hole is really make you smart?
...

message 6: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) Well, it prevents you from saying...oh, I don't know, butthole?

message 7: by Julie (new)

Julie | 568 comments Hold on...Do Pirates say bung hole?
It doesn't necessarily strike me as a pirate term.

message 8: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) http://www.talklikeapirate.com/pirate... It does indeed, and applies in the same way as whiskey. Go to How To

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Nope. Sorry. I think this whole love affair with pirates is ridiculous. I'm taking it upon myself to talk like a ninja today...

message 10: by Julie (new)

Julie | 568 comments Arrr.

message 11: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I guess we could talk like Somali pirates. But that might scare people a little.

message 12: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) Ninja's do not talk. Gus have you looked at Ben Thompson here on Goodreads? I think you two would get along great!

message 13: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) Gus, but and read his book. I brought him to Goodreads, found him on facebook.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Will do. I could also always use more Facebook friends.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

And, Stephen, that was the point of me saying I'm going to talk like a ninja, knowing they don't talk...I'm staying quiet regarding this whole talk like a pirate thing.

message 16: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) How do Somali pirates talk, RA? And how exactly would you know? Is there something you want to confess in this excessively private, secret group? We wouldn't tell a soul. hehehehe

Gus, I see, and yes, Ben Thompsons site Bad Ass of the Week is worth visiting too. He's not light weight in this regard.

I like your plan, Gus. Or I may just make like a tree (and leave... this thread, that is).

message 19: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) How about: I don't like.

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

I must say, Stephen, that Ben's site is awesome. Tongue-in-cheek, but also dead-on accurate and very respectful of the fact that these people, real and imagined, are truly badassed.

message 21: by Stephen (new)

Stephen (stephenT) Yeah, Ben Thompson. A man to watch. Make him your friend. ;-)
