Our book club read a book written by a local author (lived in our town) and I cannot add it to our book club group page. Book is A Moment In Time, by Martin Roberts. Synopsis: A Moment in Time is an historical family saga based in Ireland and England. Readers are captivated as they follow the life of Patrick Cain, eldest son of Daniel and Helen Cain. Patrick's desire to branch away from the family and his father's fishing business disrupts the peace and harmony within the Cain household. Patrick seeks to make his own way in the world by moving to England to make something of himself.

Along the way, Patrick encounters tragedy, friendship, success, and love. The life Patrick has worked so hard to build comes under attack by an unseen foe from his past. Readers are enthralled as the story unweaves; characters come to life, and the sights and smells of Patrick's world jumps off the pages with vivid imagery.
