Cool! added Down Girl: The Logic of Misogyny to the list. think the other two might be a tad academic...

Ethan | 6 comments Monique Wittig is another writer who seems interesting from what I’ve heard of her “One is not born a Woman” and materialist feminism, but she might be another author who’s “too academic”. Are you familiar with her, Mae?

I haven't read any of her stuff, but I would like to.
I just looked up one is not born a woman, and it's obviously academic, but I wouldn't rule it out if people were interested in looking at it. it could potentially be something we look at in addition to a text? we discussed reading something and throughout the month reading related articles and extracts, so that might be good for that

Ethan | 6 comments Oh, I was having a conversation with Lilidh a couple of weeks ago about the ontology of gender, and she brought up Alyson Escalente’s essay “Gender Nihilism” as something which influenced the way she thought about gender, which could also maybe be looked in addition to another larger text.

Ethan | 6 comments Essays by Kurdish feminists involved with establishing democratic con-federalism in Rojava tend to be pretty interesting too
