Marian Exall | 7 comments I would greatly appreciate tips from more tech/media-savvy writers about how to make my website more engaging. I am about to publish the second in the Sarah McKinney mystery series. Here's the link: www.marianexall.com

Mark Stone (calasade) | 53 comments You should design the look and feel of the site around the mood of your books. After looking at what you have, I'm guessing you used a generic template. If you're not trained in web design and development, I strongly suggest hiring someone like me who is. Another important aspect to keep in mind is to hire someone who can develop responsive websites that display equally well on desktops and mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc.).

Thanks. Yes, generic template. I need to bite the bullet and pay for help. Any links you can recommend? I want someone local - Bellingham, Washington.
