ABANDONED. Book about a girl with magic powers joining a team to either steal from or kill a prince (I cant remember which)

SPOILERS FOR UNKNOWN BOOK AHEAD. I remember that this book was about a girl with magic powers that joins a team of criminals to either steal from or kill a prince (again cant remember) I remember that she had to infiltrate the court and ended up falling for the prince. I also remember the character that was kind of a mentor for her had escaped from some mining work camp that was supposed to drive people insaine and was kind of a folk hero. thos details I am 90% sure were in the book. it could just be my mind adding multiple books together cuz it has been abut 2 or 3 years. The one thing i am 100% sure was there is I remember there was a scene where a cherecter was throwing coins at the ground and using magic to push themselvs off the coins to kind of fly. Thank you for any help.

Remembered some more info, sorry for the unintentional bump. I believe the mentor ended up getting executed in the square of the town. Also later in the book, the kingdom this takes place in goes to war with another kingdom

This is The Final Empire, the first book in the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. (I think some of your details are from the other books in the series getting mixed together, but I'm 100% sure this is Mistborn!)
