I notice sometimes with audiobooks (which covers are usually square rather than rectangular) that the image uploaded is incorrectly formatted; i.e. the image is permanently stretched vertically to make it fit the "normal" book cover shape, and the cover image looks stretched.
Per the librarian's manual it says we should almost never delete/replace a cover and instead create an alternate edition if we have a new cover. However, this seems like a special case. If I see this, shouldn't I delete and replace the book cover image with the same book cover image except correctly formatted so that it's in its original normal square shape?
Note that I realise that all images are sometimes temporarily formatted (and square images stretched) into the rectangular "normal" book cover shape for certain pages (such as the Editions pages of a book), but it should show up its normally sized format for the particular edition page and also on your profile and home feed.
