Jason Morgan So I have the book now and just got done reading the introduction. What stands out to me the most are Baldwin’s review of other writers, those before him and those who helped him, specifically Richard Wright.

I’m just starting. I read the introduction and Baldwin was a bad brother! Did you notice how much he put into the book reviews he used to do?! His prose is just beautiful.
