Why didn't you want to borrow the DVD?
I only have Phantoms as part of an omnibus which has always been a pain to read and mark my progress. I typically borrow a copy of the book from the library.

I’ll take your suggestion, only 1 of my the libraries, have a copy I added a requested, should get it within, 1-2 weeks. Thanks.
Well, I suddenly have a lot more free time on my hands than I used to. I've started reading Phantoms and should be able to get through it pretty quickly. I've been going through books so fast recently that I've had to increase my 2020 Reading Goal about four times this month - I started out around 50 for my goal and it's currently at 90 - still likely to increase.
Finished the book just before month end, but only now getting around to writing about it. I think it was better than I thought the first time I read it. Scary monster conquered by modern technology.
I'm finishing the last few pages of Phantoms now and trying to get my thoughts together about the story.
This is not one of my favorites, but I still like it.
I really like when we are introduced to the quirky character Timothy Flyte over that breakfast in London.
