my blog is in italian/english. Each italian post has accented letters and hyphens but all of them are not correclty imported in Goodreads. Pls see this example: https://www.goodreads.com/author_blog...

Dee (austhokie) | 897 comments When you wrote the post did you use tge HTML coding for accents? You may need to do that

Fabio Marzocca | 11 comments I normally write in wordpress... as everyone does. No one is so crazy to insert HTML tag for every accented letter! Italians, French, Russian, Germans, etc will become crazy!

Fabio Marzocca | 11 comments WordPress is using the "meta charset="UTF-8" , while your page isn't doing it...

its not just wordpress - it is who other websites are coded - if they aren't coded to recognize diacretics, then they won't transfer over - I dealt with it when I was doing web programing on a previous job, the previous database hadn't been designed to accept them, so we had to do the HTML for all of them, or just remove
