Mttyd | 2 comments Last year my goal was 12 books for 2019 and I nailed it. This year I want to take a different angle and read one professional book and one personal book each month. I generally gravitate towards business and self help type book and I find myself not appreciating other genres.

As I progress I'd love to hear suggestions from others.

Mttyd | 2 comments So far for January I have completed: Quiet by Susan Cain

My thoughts: If you are looking for a book that speaks to, and of, the soul of the introvert this book is a pure masterpiece. Parts of it are truly beautiful.

The book left me with challenging questions about my personal, parenting, and leadership style.

The culture in the US has fallen way short of what 1/2 of our population needs. This is a crisis. If you are a manager, parent or introvert you must buy this book.

There were a few pages about the financial crisis that I didn't enjoy but largely this book was a great read start to finish.

Kris | 15 comments I have had “Quiet” downloaded on my Kindle for AGES! I’ve truly been meaning to read it. Congrats on completing it already, and good luck with the rest of your challenge!
