ABANDONED. A boy who talks to monsters in the hole in his bedroom wall (Very Dark Graphic Novel)

When I was a wee little boy of like 14 or 15, I got a book from a friend that was a graphic novel reminded me a little of Grimms Fairytales.

I can really only give the plots of the two stories I remember both from the same book.

1: Was about a boy and his parents that moved to a new house and the child discovers that there is a hole in his closet or bedroom wall, idk. He tries to tell his parents but they go and check and the holes gone. One thing leads to another and his parents sometimes abuse him horribly. The hole offers to, "Fix the problem". Let's just say the child's parents die horribly.

2: I don't have as much on this story but: It's about the story of a princess who falls for a prince but gets betrayed and has her heart torn out of her chest with a knife. They take the heart and put it in a box, eventually, the girl then begins to walk around the palace garden with a box and then kills the prince at somepoint.

Now other than that I have no flipping idea what these came from. I was like fourteen so it was like around... 2007-08? Please if anyone can help I would be sooooooo happy.

Both in the same book if I remember correctly.
