Jimmie | 302 comments I received an email today from Barnes and Noble suggesting I purchase a graphic novel called Monster. It is by the same author. What an eerie coincidence.

I read this book about 5 or so many years ago, It has to do with a little black boy being charged with murder...

Amzette I just checked out the audio book, Monster, from my library. I’ll be listening to it when I can, as I have several other books that I’m also reading at this time. I have a lot of down time since I’m chronically ill and mostly bedridden. I mainly have to listen to books due to the debilitating migraines that I constantly suffer from. I do still read books, they just may take me a bit longer than they used to.
I’m definitely looking forward to listening to Monster. I’ve already listened to a bit of it and it sounds very interesting despite, some of the not so good, reviews that I read.
Happy Reading everyone.

Anne (w/ an E) (mzcatnthehat) | 157 comments I am two-thirds of the way through this story. Although this is not the kind of story I usually read, I feel like the next part will interest me more than the last part did.

Anne (w/ an E) (mzcatnthehat) | 157 comments I have read it. It was well-writen, but It wasn't my my kind of story. I wouldn't choose to read this for my own enjoyment.

Cathy Matthews Goldshot | 40 comments This book was a very easy read and a good story. The way it was written (like a screenplay, but with a few journal type entries along the way) was very creative. It's not the type I would normally read, but I'm glad I gave it a shot.
