Anyone else excited to check out this show on Netflix??

Looks good and of course I'm mentioning it because Joe Hill is King's son.

Kandice | 4387 comments I can't wait! I've loved this series since it first started, so can't wait to see it on screen. I'm a little nervous they are going to mess it up, though.

Scott Rees | 14 comments It was ok, I binge watched it yesterday. A little slow but I will watch the next season when it comes out.

Kandice | 4387 comments I've seen the first two episodes and while it hasn't covered much ground yet, I like the casting and they've done a good job of not making it look cheezy.

Femmy | 195 comments I've gotten to episode seven. I think it's good. I really enjoy it.

I have a question for those who have watched this or read the book. (view spoiler)

I've only read NOS4A2 by Joe Hill, but it seems to me he likes creating characters that make bad decisions. I get frustrated with them sometimes.

I've read the comics a few times, but am only on episode 4 so far. I'm not sure how to answer your questions as far as the show goes, but I can agree that Hill makes characters that are realistically flawed and choke under pressure, just like most of us would.

Yes, they do have character's flaws, and they don't necessarily make bad decisions under pressure. For example, (view spoiler)

I finished watching the series last night. I think the story wraps up nicely, with an option for a second season (has anything been announced yet?) I like the series as a whole, with great production, great acting, great special effects. All the various keys are fun! But those bad decisions ((view spoiler)) somewhat take away from my enjoyment of the story.

Erin (ems84) | 2656 comments I'm on episode 5. I think it's decent, it can be a bit slow at times and I want to try to get through the season but sometimes it's a struggle to stay interested.
