It was ok, I binge watched it yesterday. A little slow but I will watch the next season when it comes out.

I've seen the first two episodes and while it hasn't covered much ground yet, I like the casting and they've done a good job of not making it look cheezy.

I've only read NOS4A2 by Joe Hill, but it seems to me he likes creating characters that make bad decisions. I get frustrated with them sometimes.

I've read the comics a few times, but am only on episode 4 so far. I'm not sure how to answer your questions as far as the show goes, but I can agree that Hill makes characters that are realistically flawed and choke under pressure, just like most of us would.

Yes, they do have character's flaws, and they don't necessarily make bad decisions under pressure. For example, (view spoiler)[the kids trying out the keys by themselves, their making decisions without discussing it first with the others, Kinsey revealing the keys to her friends, her going after Eden with the Music Key (Scot leaving in distaste was the right response). I finished watching the series last night. I think the story wraps up nicely, with an option for a second season (has anything been announced yet?) I like the series as a whole, with great production, great acting, great special effects. All the various keys are fun! But those bad decisions ((view spoiler)[Ellie taking the Crown Key with her when she goes to her house to get the crown. I mean, why not just hand both over to Dodge? (hide spoiler)]) somewhat take away from my enjoyment of the story.

I'm on episode 5. I think it's decent, it can be a bit slow at times and I want to try to get through the season but sometimes it's a struggle to stay interested.
