I read this amazing prescient story about 18 months ago. People often comment on the internet-like technology being written about in 1946 but the best part of the story is that "Joe" only provides the information and the good, bad and often humorous results are all the result of how humans put this over abundance of knowledge to use in the real world.
I read this one a while back also, I actually thought I read it with this group but I guess not. I really enjoyed it. I'm looking around for a collection of Leinster stories but there isn't much of his work readily available it seems.

We did have some informal discussion of this story earlier, but it was never an "official" story of the month. I plan to re-read it and discuss a bit here.
In the meantime, I just read If You Was a Moklin which is also a fun story which is available on Project Gutenberg and elsewhere. This story takes place on an alien planet where the friendly aliens are able to direct their own evolution. Exactly how is unknown, but if they want their children to look more and more like humans, then they can do it. So, am I am Moklin? You'll never know!

There are also some inexpensive stories on Amazon Kindle.
Leinster has an interesting body of work starting way back in the 1910s, IIRC. I tend to remember him best for his work with "Land of the Giants", a terrible late 60s TV show. That's unfair of me. He had some great ideas & very readable stories, such as this one.
