This is not about the book

HI,
I have been reading so much recently, I find it hard to remember what I have read and what I thought of it. I also like to recommend books to friends, like a kind of book club, but without the pressure to all have to read the same books. Sometimes if I hear a review for a new book on an arts programme, I will also check the goodreads reviews, usually looking at one good and one bad review, before deciding whether to read it. I love GR but find it very clumsy. First the Home Page is designed to show friends updates front and center. I would rather be able to choose to see updates, after all, do I care that "Tiffani" was bored and went through a bunch of titles that she added to her Want To Read list? I might, but it is not important enough to be in this spot. Also, why is Currently Reading on the Home page? I am the only one looking at the home page, right? I like the recommendations, challenge update and the click for my want to read list. I know there is more but I am used to being able to navigate the site now, so it is not so confusing!

I just finished adding some books in that I have Listened to on Audible. Do to the CVID situation am reading more. I use my Kindle as well as Audible (for my many walks with the dogs).
So essentially reading 2 books in the same time period. Would be nice if there was any easier way to indicate this on My Library. Got bogged down entering in the dates that sometimes overlapped with other dates. Would default to silliness like making it look as though I read a book in 1 day,
Also would be nice to have a shelf just dedicated to Audible books

I agree about having option to show multiple books being read. I have one in my car for when I travel and at least one I'm reading at home.

There needs to be another shelf (or two) added to the options - On Hold. This would be for books you started to read but set aside for now. It may be for books you didn't get into and stopped reading but will come back to someday. Or those you started but ran out of time -- like Book Club reads that you didn't finish in time for the discussion. Or those really long books that you are going to tackle in pieces.

I have a dozen books showing on my "Reading" shelf but most are On Hold and may not be picked up again for some time.

Another shelf for those books you started but decided not to finish would be useful too. That would be for those you just didn't get into and choose not to finish.
