I'm still on badge 2 though? Isn't badge 2 one task from the remaining 18 cards? then I still need 9 more books to go
Yes, you are still working on Badge 2, but you've read two books for card 9, which means that the second book belongs to badge 3.I show that you have read 9 books for badge 2, so have 9 books to go.

I checked again in case I made a mistake but I really didn't read any books for card 9 except the one I just posted, I haven't had any books for that card to begin with? I don't know I'm confused
Ok, I went through my spreadsheet and redid all your badge 2 books. ( I found a couple of mistakes on my part.) You have 10 books read, 8 to go. Message 51 & 53 both say "Badge 2, Book 9". If you change message 53 to "Badge 2, Book 10" we will have the same number of books.

Ahhhh - I see your error. You reported it as history when it should have been entertainment.

It was better than the first, but still not impressive compared to her other work. I think she's great at stand-alone books and should probably stick to that.
I struggled with the first, so wasn't going to read more in the series. It's good that you were able to fit both of them into your challenge.
