Cristal Punnett 8.I have just finished reading The Boys in the Boat. A wonderfully uplifting story of underdogs, so well researched. Well worth reading.

message 15: by Cristal (last edited Jan 31, 2015 07:46AM) (new)

Cristal Punnett 9. The Martian A cracking read, with some great humour, although the scientific bits made me glazing over at time, obviously well researched.

message 16: by Cristal (new)

Cristal Punnett 10. Station Eleven An extraordinary , thought provoking post apocalyptic novel, with wonderful story telling. Highly recommend.

message 17: by Cristal (new)

Cristal Punnett 11. Paper Towns A young Adult story with good characters and funny dialogue, but the plot was disappointing.

message 18: by Cristal (new)

Cristal Punnett 12.The Girl on the Train A modern day who done it. Rachel is such an unreliable witness, the story has so many twists and turns, that kept me guessing to the end.

message 19: by Cristal (new)

Cristal Punnett 13.The Invention of Wings
At times I found the book painful reading, the treatment of the slaves is awful.
The author has done lots of research to keep the story accurate, and the addition of the author's notes is great for more information.

message 20: by Cristal (new)

Cristal Punnett 14. Before I Go To Sleep A brilliant psychological thriller full of twists and turns.

15. The Rosie Effect An enjoyable chick flick, Don Tillman is on form.
