KOBO ISBN question

I added an edition for the KOBO version of my book Past Hurts and when I saved it it said to check the ISBN because it may be invalid. I copied the ISBN directly from KOBO's website, so I'm not sure what the problem is. It's a 13 digit ISBN so I put it in ISBN 13, was that not correct?

Kobo' ISBN is not an official ISBN as in it does not conform to the check digit check that ISBNs have. That said GR policy is to allow the use of the KOBO I'd number in the ISNM field. You can ignore the error it does not affect anything

So I should move it from ISBN 13 to ISBN? I guess I'm totally confused as to how GR know's it's a KOBO book.

No it stays in the ISBN13 field. They know because it starts with 123 real ISBNs do not
