Dang, I also saw this was Reese's book of the month, and have had this on my radar. I'm very torn whether or not to remove from my TBR

I am in the same boat, Joi. But, that parting line, "I'm rating it three stars because when I finished this book I just felt extremely irritated" does not bode well.
This is one of those books that’s hovering right on the edge of my TBR, And I have been waiting to hear what people think. First review from a trusted source… Thumbs down.
I've had it on the radar list as well and have moved off to the wait and see list.I initially wrote readar list and that isn't a bad description, I might keep it.
I had picked up the book and looked at it while in the library. After reading a little, I passed on it... I enjoyed reading your thoughts about the book. I too, read fiction for enjoyment and rate books accordingly.

This one is so divisive! One of my friends is raving about it and trying to make everyone read it, and then another said 'meh' and gave it the same rating as you. I'm conflicted about whether to add it or not!
I am always surprised when reviews for these really buzzy books start coming through PBT because the opinions tend to be so split and I love that! This was on my want to read although I am not sure I actually added it to my GR list, just on my radar.
I am trying, AGAIN!, to not buy new books until I read what I have, but more realistically this time (like not until Independent Book Store Day, and maybe once a quarter after?). So, that being said, I will keep this one off my physical TBR for now.
Ok. I've used a credit for the audio. I've caved to the pressure of wanting to know which side I will fall!
