When a vicious attack leaves 25-year-old Clementine Johns with no memory, she's forced to start over. Now she has to figure out who she was and why she made the choices she did - which includes leaving the supposed love of her life, tattoo artist Ed Larsen, only a month before.
Ed can hardly believe it when his ex shows up at his tattoo parlor with no memory of their past, asking about the breakup that nearly destroyed him. The last thing he needs is more heartache, but he can't seem to let her go again.
Should they walk away for good, or does their love deserve a repeat performance?
ch 4 (view spoiler)[ How awful to be attacked and then lose your entire memory? And there's this great guy that you thought cheated but now you think he didn't and you want to be with him again? Wow, that's a lot of drama lol (hide spoiler)] ch 8 (view spoiler)[ Someone had to be filling Clem's head with lies about Ed. Maybe Shannon? I also think Ed's neighbor guy seems way sketchy (hide spoiler)] ch 12 (view spoiler)[ Now I'm wondering about Tessa's boyfriend after that look he gave Clem. So many suspects. And why are they still vandalizing her space? Maybe trying to drive Clem away from Ed (hide spoiler)] finished (view spoiler)[ Okay so it was Shannon. I thought maybe it would be 2 people but either way, she's a psycho and I'm glad they caught her. This was pretty good and I liked that Ed was a good guy (hide spoiler)]
Ch. 1-4 (view spoiler)[Not sure I'm loving this book. Feels like it started in the middle of something we as readers no nothing about. I mean we are as clueless as Clementine is about her past relationships and life lol. (hide spoiler)]
Ch. 5-7 (view spoiler)[It's so obvious his coworker (the receptionist) is involved. I also really don't feel chemistry between them. More like chemistry on her side and loathing on his. (hide spoiler)] Ch. 8-11 (view spoiler)[Ugh I don't know, I am just not connecting with them together at all. Especially since he tried to get over her with so many people under him. He didn't seem to really want her there at his home either. But damn I love his dog. (hide spoiler)]. Finished (view spoiler)[Yeah so I never fell in love with this story. I never felt like we had enough history on them as a couple before. Not to mention what we did learn, it seems like she was a totally different person than she is now. As far as the person threatening her and causing them to break up, it was beyond obvious who it was. Plus once the situation came to a head it got solved so quickly and I really expected a stronger response from him and maybe more detail on how she got Clem to listen to her and believe her so strongly enough to break up with him so harshly with no proof. (hide spoiler)]
