Level Three achieved! Huzzah!

(I haven't actually finished anything in eyeball reading. I only read a couple of pages a day that way.)

Melissa Coyle | 1557 comments Listened to my first audio on LibriVox, The Three Musketeers. I enjoyed most of the narrators and some not so much, but it was free. :) Now which book should I listen to next?

Hmmm. It looks like SJ has left GR. I'll do my best to monitor this mini-challenge. So far it looks like everyone is doing great.

message 63: by Dianne (new)

Dianne (dianeterry) | 39 comments Hope everyone is still listening. I have a few books on the go, but am half way through Staying Human by Katharina Stegelmann. Not my usual choice of book.

God, I haven't even started it yet. I unfortunately missed some great opportunities that would have been perfect for this challenge!

Becca Tyler (scrappybec) | 296 comments I'm having surgery at the end of April and plan to catch up on audio books then.

I hope it's either nothing serious or that your surgery makes everything better... And leaves you with plenty of time to recuperate with books.

message 69: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl Schneider (cltschneider) | 76 comments Audiobooksync.com has recently announced the titles that they will be giving away this summer.
For those who aren't familiar with this program, every week, they give everyone access to download two audio books. One YA book, and a classic with a similar theme. The books are yours forever, so you can listen to them at your leisure. This is a great program for anyone interested in trying out the format for the first time. Only caveat is that you have to remember to go back every week to download the new books! Begins May 7 this year, and it looks like some great titles!!!

Overbooked ✎ (kiwi_fruit) | 800 comments Becca, wish you all the best for your surgery and post op recovery!

Many thanks Cheryl for the info, as an avid audiobook user I'm thrilled as YA and classics are two of my favourite genres! have you used Synch before?
