Here's another fun-filled challenge for you guys to enjoy! Be creative and do something fun in each clue or you could also do a Spell-it-out Challenge for each clue mentioned below.
Duration : Six months from the start date.
First on your list is to select a theme/genre for your book. Keeping our group’s genre in consideration, we recommend your book to have even a little bit of romance, so select a sub-genre of Romance.
• Completing this clue is quite simple. You can read any 2 books of your favourite genre
OR
You can do a Spell-it-out Challenge and spell out your favourite genre.
Next is to select a title for your book.
• You choose the tile of your book, either after the title of some other book
OR
You can pick out several books each with one word from your chosen title and string them together.
Example: Suppose, my title is “Last Wager”, I can pick out the following books
each having a word from my decided title, like,
My Last Resolution(Last)
The Texan's Wager(Wager)
No Spell-It-Out in this clue.
Think of a story.
• Read a short story
First-lines are important too!
• Here, you have to think of a first-line to your book (not more than 5 words) and read a book/more than one books whose title contain the words in your first-line.
Example: Suppose, my first line is, ‘On a cold winter morning…’, so I can read:
(On) Secretary on Demand
(a) A Husband's Regret
(cold) The Cold Wife
(winter) The Winter Wife: A Christmas Novella
(morning) The Morning Gift
What about characters....??
• Read 2 books with your favourite characters
OR
Do a spell-it-out Challenge of your favourite character's name
Ending of the Story
• Think about how you want your book to end, whether in a tragic, happy or cliff-hanger, and read a book which corresponds to the ending you want your book to have!
