Well aren't you the special one! -grin- Just kidding! Don't get mad.

I am one of those that ALWAYS got sick. I would have colds several times and the flu 2-3 times a year.
For the past few years I have been getting the flu shot and haven't had the flu since. At least not at full strength.
It's hard to describe how nice it is to stay relatively healthy through the cold and flu season. Especially when I see those who give me crap about getting the shot get sick themselves. Bwaahaahaa!

the absolute worst thing about getting the flu is that you are too sick to even read! The horror, the horror!

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments Now that I've said that watch me get the flu next week. Maybe my body has built up an immunity from working in the public for twenty years. I get an occasional cold but it only lasts for two or three days.

Hey OCD is a feature, not a disability. Way to go Marge!

Matt R. (matt2009) | 29 comments My TBR list consists of many books on my bookshelves at home. I add more to the list when I read a good review or come across a book/topic that I want to read at that moment. Luckily, my library has a decent selection as well.

Justin Brumbelow (justinbrumbelow) | 2 comments My TBR list is mostly for a reference when I go to the used book store. I'll add a book to it when i get one recommended or read a decent review so that way I'll at least have some idea of what I'm looking for and what might actually be worth the money to get.

Now when I want to start a new book I will search through my bookshelf, grab a few (let's say 5) lay them in a row on the bed and ask my fiance to pick a number between 1-5. Bingo, I have a new book to read!

But i also "splurge" and buy books that aren't on my list at thrift stores, yet i don't feel bad b/c they are usually only .50 cents. Hehe.
