Hani looked at her classmates glaring at each other and sighed before finishing the sheet. The teacher and Iris had given away half of the answers, sadly enough.

The teacher stood up, "All right students, you should have finished by now, especially with the help from Ms. Iris N. and Incognito," she said, squinting at Incognito, trying to see under his hood

Iris rolled her eyes "whatever" she whispered under her breath so the teacher couldn't hear. not that she cared anyway.

Ruth walked in. Either she didn't know she was late or she didn't care. She didn't have a backpack on, just a cheap notepad under her arm and a pencil behind her ear.

Hani saw someone new come in and scooted her chair over to her, wincing at the screeching sound it made. "Hi!" she said to Ruth, "I'm Hani, what's your name?" she asked with a big smile

iris pulled out her watercolor pens and started to color in the skin tone, it was easy because she had seen his wrist.

Ruth smiles uncomfortably, grateful that Jasmine decided to leave it alone. She looked around. The room, however large, made her feel claustrophobic and restless.

Jasmine went to work on her schooling.

Harper looked up when she noticed more people enter the class. When she heard them talking as though they already knew each other, a cloud of loss swept over her. Maybe she needed to be more out there to make friends. That would take courage. Meanwhile, Harper would work her hardest to be the best detective she could be.

Hani sighed, frustrated and moved back to her spot

Harper looked over at Hani, barely thinking twice before blurting out: "H-hi, my Name's Harper."

Hani nodded, "Nice to meet you Harper!" she said, brightening

Harper sighed with relief. She finally had enough courage to talk to someone. "Have you finished with the math problems yet? I'm finished but I don't think to teacher's in the room."

Hani nodded, "I finished. I think the teacher left really quickly to go get some air or something," she said.
As if on cue, the door opened and the teacher reentered, "Well, I see you were all behaving," she said dryly as she walked to the desk and sat in it. She watched the students as they did whatever they ere doing, with one lifted eyebrow and a look of disappointment.

The teacher stood up and collected the sheets of problems. She stopped at Incognito's desk and looked him in the eye[Well where his eyes would be], "You know, it's rather impolite to wear a hood in class," she said and walked back to her desk.

Harper timidly waved her hand to the teacher, sliding her finished problems forward. She turned back to Hani. "what do we do now?" she asked, tugging on her silvery locks.

The teacher grabbed Harper's papers and sat down at her desk,"I'm going to check these papers. And you all can sit quietly and patiently until the bell rings for lunch," she said

The teacher stood in front of the door, "No, Ms Iris N. You are not to leave this classroom until the bell rings." she lectured, "Just for that behavior I am going to keep class is session for an extra three minutes," she stated as she stood in front of the door with her arms crossed

Iris scoffed "like you care" she crossed her arms and began a Mexican stand off
