1) Click the (some html is ok) link above the comment box.

2) Under formatting tips, there should be one that says
image:
With a long bunch of characters
Copy the long bunch of characters into the comment box.

3) Put in the link to your picture into the place where it has the goodreads image web address

4) Put the width into the place that say width and the height into the place that says height. Keep these numbers reasonable. Also add a one word description, it doesn't even have to be related to the picture

5) hit post. You should see a loading symbol before goodreads inserts your picture. If it doesn't work it will say:
