I have read up to book 3 and haven't gotten back to Outlander. The books are just so stinking long but good!

Carrie (icanhasbooks) | 595 comments I'm a little confused, there is a Jamming Jenny and a Jammin Jenny. But the only post which is Jammin Jenny. Jamming Jenny with a "g" is suppose to pick for me but there is no person...I'm guessing it's Jammin Jenny. Just wanted to point it out.

VampAmber | 622 comments Carrie wrote: "VampAmber, for you:

Thanks for the picks. I'm pretty sure I've had that copy of Interview With The Vampire for over two decades now, so it's about as dusty as it gets. I started Horrorstor last night, and it already seems like it's gonna be great. As for Gone With The Wind, I'm not going to be able to finish it all this month (cuz there is a LOT of book), but I'm definitely going to try to finish it in the next few months. ^_^

message 72: by VampAmber (new)

VampAmber | 622 comments Debbie wrote: "Debbie G's Feb. Dusty"

For you, I picked Don't Hex with Texas (Enchanted, Inc., #4) by Shanna Swendson for your old dusty book, because I've been meaning to start the series myself. As for your new dusty book, I went with Murder at the Breakers (Gilded Newport Mysteries #1) by Alyssa Maxwell because you gotta love a historical mystery. And for your bonus book, I went with Club Dead (Sookie Stackhouse, #3) by Charlaine Harris because I think the Sookie Stackhouse series is definitely a good one to continue. Enjoy. ^_^

Thanks for the great picks. Enchanted, Inc is a really fun series and I've just sort of drifted on Snookie and need to get back to it. Thanks again!

Lexi | 351 comments This may not be how this should work, but it looks like your person picked for someone else, so I picked three for you:

Old: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Harry Potter, #1) by J.K. Rowling

New: The Girl Who Lost Her Shadow by Emily Ilett

Bonus: The Fairy Godmother (Five Hundred Kingdoms, #1) by Mercedes Lackey - you added it to your TBR in 2012 and it is a fun, fast read

message 80: by Louise (new)

Louise | 1600 comments Finished one of my picks Almost Gone (The Au Pair—Book One) by Ophelia Night I really enjoyed it and will be putting the rest of the series on my TBR. The author Ophelia Night is a pen name for Blake Pierce whose books I really enjoy. Thank You LittleRed 😊

message 81: by VampAmber (new)

VampAmber | 622 comments Finished my first (and probably only) pick for the month, Horrorstör by Grady Hendrix . It was the perfect combination of scary and funny and insane, and I loved it so much I had my mom read it too (and she also liked it). It kinda had the same feel as House of Leaves, which is one of my, and her, favorite books. ^_^

message 82: by Denise (new)

Denise | 796 comments Finished one of Ezinwanyi's picks for me - Murder at the Savoy by Maj Sjowall and Per Wahloo - one of a series of books by these Swedish authors in the 1960s which introduced social criticism to the mystery book. Many authors have been infuenced by their writing such as Henning Mankell, Ed McBain.

This is a good book but not the best of the series if I could I would give it 3 1/2 stars,

I hope to get to the second pick but it may not be until very end of month

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) | 1919 comments Finished all 3 books for Feb

The second book in that series in one of my top three all time favorite books.

message 89: by Lexi (last edited Feb 26, 2020 08:07AM) (new)

Lexi | 351 comments I finished two of the three for the month and that is as many as I will get. (I also got two done in Jan as well).

I wasn't as fond as I thought I would be of The Last Wish (3 stars). I was over the casual sexism and sleeping with minors pretty quickly. Bone Gap (4 stars) ended up being a retelling of a myth which I did not expect and I really enjoyed it. It was quite different.

Jodi (jari-chan) Also finished The Twilight Watch (Watch, #3) by Sergei Lukyanenko & The Science of Discworld (The Science of Discworld, #1) by Terry Pratchett - prefered the first one, but I'm happy to have finally read the Discworld one.
