In Search of Churchill question

I am half way through this book and I am beginning to feel that it is getting a bit long in the tooth, It is well written and a very good description of how the historian plies his trade. It also does give insight into the personality of Churchill but I am ready to be finished. Hopefully, in a day or so I will finish.
