Les Misérables: General Discussion *Spoiler Free*

I continue to enjoy this read! My English translated version is 1,803 pages, and I'm 3/4 of the way through it. I should be able to finish it before the end of March. I'm getting use to Hugo's historical digressions; it some ways, it's a nice break in the story-line for my history buff personality trait.

I finally finished this book after 3 and 1/2 months. My English translation was 1,803 pages. A memorable read for me. Amazing character development and historical perspective of the era.

I recently learned that Victor Hugo wrote this over 5 volumes. Do I count this as 1 or 5 books to my 2020 reading challenge?
