Phoenix blushed and smiled. He daringly stepped closer to the boy and sat down next to him. But what was he to say? It has been so easy to talk to him online, but now that he is in front of him he couldn't think of anything. He looked over at the boy and smiled again. His heart was pounding, he didn't know what to do.

"Hi...um.." Hark started to laugh a nervous chuckle and began again, "crap this is really awkward because I've never really met such a cute guy like you before, and yeah..." Hark felt himself internally face palm himself at his stupidity and blushed deeper as the other man laughed, embarrassed Hark turned around, "So you want to go and eat somewhere, my treat since I look like crap..."Hark left the comment open and wondered about the answer to it.
"Um. Sure. Would you want to go to Panera? That place has amazing muffins! Come on. Let's go!" Phoenix grabbed the boys hand, wrapping his fingers around his he got the other boy to stand up. As soon as Phoenix realized what he did he blushed, but he didn't let go of Harley's hand. He didn't want to.
Hark felt everything light up inside of him as he felt the other boy's cool hand curl around his own. He felt allhis words leave him as the other boy walked in front him with his hand clasped around his clammy one. He felt his heart thump rapidly in his chest. He was really falling for the boy hard right now, especially since the first restaurant the other boy thought of was Panera!"...I really like the soup there..." Internally Hark face palmed himself as they neared Panera. THAT was all he could think of to say! He now wanted to crawl under a rock as he felt his face heat up. The blonde could almost laugh at the fact that he was taller than the boy who was pulling him along to Panera, but it was cute.
"Yea! The soup is great too. Their tomatoe bazil is awesome!" Phoenix's heart was pounding! He was trying so hard not to be shy, considering they had spoken for months with each other online. He needed to come out of his shell. Right now. They were standing I frontbf the doors of Panera, but before they walked in, Phoenix decided to make a bold move. Phoenix turned around, looked at the blonde haired boy in the face and then reached up and kissed his cheek. Why not? He liked him. Then he quickly turned around and walked into Panera.
Hark felt his heart stop as he felt a peck on his cheek, and he felt his face heat up like an oven! A hot boy had just kissed him on the cheek, even if it had been his hurt cheek! It had been a kiss all the same. He stared blankly at the other boy and might have looked at a little lower than he should have as he watched him walk away. He almost galloped inside after him feeling a bit ashamed he was acting like such a maiden in front of Phoenix.Hark felt relaxed the instant the cool air and nice smells touched his skin, it made him feel more comfortable. He leaned down to Phoenix's ear and whispered, "I guess I'll try the tomato and basil, here's a 25 dollar gift card so get anything you want, I'll find a good table, do you like the windows, or a booth?"
Phoenix felt a shiver go down his spine as the blonde haired boy whispered in his ear. He turned around and smiled. "I like booths" And then smiled, showing teeth, then went up to the counter to order their food. He got the tomato basil and cheese and ham sandwich. He ordered the same for Harely. Getting him the half and half instead of just a bowl of soup. He was then handed his food and then went to look where Harley was sitting.
Hark felt a sense of relief as he sat down in a booth in the corner that was exceedingly large for only two, but maybe the open room would make his nerves subside enough to talk properly. Hark watched as Phoenix received the trays with two meals in hand. His heart raced as he saw the black haired boy turn his way, and instantly he remembered the boy's smile from only moment's earlier making his face blow up like the tomato soup that appeared before him.He looked over as he saw Phoenix sit down and smile at him. Hark felt as though he had fallen under the boys spell and with a sigh he layed on the table hiding his face with his arms, "You are too friggen cute~" Hark groaned exsaperatedly.
"What?" Phoenix had heard what Harley had said, but he wanted to hear it again. He saw when he had dat down how red his face was. Phoenix smiled and giggled thinking about it. Harley was so cute and Phoenix wanted to jump over this table right now and pin Harley down and kiss him, but of course, being in a restraunt he held back. He put a hand on Harley's arm and looked at him, waiting for a reply.
Harley barely registered that the other had asked for him to repeat himself. He hid his face in his arms as he felt his arm tingle with the small touch of the others hand upon him. It made Hark aware of just how nervous he was as he jumped a little. "U-um-um..." Hark stuttered as he finally looked upward at the other who's perfect pearly smile was directed straight at him with blinding brightness. "Nothing," Hark practically felt his ears burn as he turned to the soup and picked a spoonful of tomato & basil and tasted it. Hark's eyes widened and he felt a large smile pull onto his face as he reveled in a wonderful taste of tomato soup. "This is delicious!"
Phoenix was a little disappointed that Harley didn't say it again, but at least he was enjoying his time."I'm glad you like it! It's my favorite thing to get. You should try dipping the sandwich in the soup and eating it like that." He said as he dipped his sandwich in his soup and ate it. Phoenix smiled and felt a sigh of relief. This day was going better than expected and he loved being with Harley.
Hark looked at the sandwich and dipped it into the soup and took a bite, his whole face lighting up at the taste. "That's amazing!" He looked over to Phoenix and asked, "So do you have the whole day free?" asked Hark a bit shyly. He watched the other boy look at him as he continued and he blushed once more as he felt the others full attention on him."If you do have the day free, where do you wanna go next, because I have some money and stuff..." Hark trailed off and looked towards the window knowing full well his red ears gave his embarrassment away.
Phoenix smiled seeing how nervous Harley was. It's so cute! "Yes, I'm free the rest of the day. Maybe we could go to the amusement park! I hear they have a new ride at Kings Island! I've been wanting to go. Would you want to go with me?"
Hark smiled back at Phoenix and said, "I've never been to King's Island before! A roller coaster sounds fun! I have my car parked outside. How about I drive?" The other boys face lit up happily making Hark smile too, but his eyes wandered back to the soup."But first let me finish my food."
"Haha, okay. You'll be throwing that up by the time we get off the ride. I have an iron stomach so I'll be fine" Phoenix said as he choked down his food. Once Phoenix was done he laid his hand on Harley's arm, waiting for him to be done eating. He smiled as he touched him. He was so warm and the muscles on his arm were very toned. He almost couldn't control his urge to jump over the table and "attack" Harley.
Hark blushed brightly as he felt the other boy's hands on his arm, it was so sudden he almost choked on his food but thankfully he didn't. "I have an iron stomach too! I will definitely be fine!" the blonde declared. He picked up his tray and watched as the raven haired boy followed in suit. They both walked outside and Hark turned around and said, "My car is just by the exit, are you okay with riding in a van? I kinda had to borrow it from my sister, but she is at my grandparents for the weekend with her son so its okay to ride around a while, and I don't have to go home anytime soon. Do you?"
"Nope! The longer I'm away from home the better. And I don't mind. My car is a 1997 S-10. So, you know, it's old..... So, your sister has a baby?" Phoenix hadn't heard about much of Harley's family. He wanted to hear more about it. Phoenix opened the door to the van and got in, and hoped Harley would tell him more about his family. He sure hoped they were better than his.
"Yeah, her husband is in the army so she lives at home, but she always goes to grandparents because my mom and dad fight all the time and are never home afterwards. She kinda is taking a vacation because my grandparents live Virginia so she let me have the car till she gets back...." Hark looked over at Phoenix who's blue eyes met his green ones in an understanding look."Well, we need to go have some fun at that park, no sense in wasting a perfectly hot day in the sun!" Hark laughed loudly, "right?" Then he spied his blue van and fished out his keys, but he felt the other's eyes on him so he nervously hurried.
Phoenix grabbed Harley's hand and held it before he walked away. It was more of he understood how he felt. Considering he had family problems too. He kept his eyes on Harley until they made it to the van. He let go and got in the passenger side. The van smelled like a normal van. It didn't smell like drugs, alcohol, and smoke like his fathers car.
Hark got in the car and started it up and then realized something. "I u-um.." Hark started sheepishly, "I don't know where king's island is..." He felt a blush rise as he heard the other laugh at his blunder. He touched his Harley steering wheel with a tight grip and felt it smoosh under the pressure, making it feel similar to a squeeze ball. It was as soft as the other's hands had felt. Hark had a confession to make, he had never been with another person before, like in a romantic way. He had always hoped and dreamed and wished, but now that it was coming true he didn't know what to do. He hoped he was doing alright on his first date...
Phoenix saw Harley's embarrassment. "Don't worry about it! I'll give you directions!" Phoenix smiled at Harley and held his hand again. Phoenix wanted to go to Kings Island with Harley so bad, but.. he wanted to do something else too.. He thought to himself whether he should really give directions to Kings Island or somewhere else..
He finally made his decision and began to give Harley directions to their destination.
The drive to king's island was relatively easy and Phoenix even helped Hark pick out some drinks and snacks before they went to far on the road so it wouldn't be so expensive. They got back in the car, and Hark looked at the time and noted it was about 5 o'clock in the afternoon. The blonde found something about himself he liked, he liked holding the raven's hand, it was warm, something Hark rarely ever felt. He felt so happy being with the raven."It's so great being with you! I feel more like myself now! Hey Phoenix..." Hark was about to continue but he had a feeling that what he was about to ask would ruin the nice cheerful mood so he decided not to ask. "Nevermind."
He had been about to ask, 'have you been on a lot of dates before'.
Phoenix was concerned now. "What is it, Harley? You can ask me anything!"
Phoenix watched as the blonde haired boy blushed, looking a little nervous. Phoenix grabbed his hand and held it, hoping it would help. He smiled at Harley. He then reached over and hugged him tightly.
"Oh, and by the way, I like spending time with you too"
"Y-yeah!" Hark blushed as bright as the sun as the boy hugged him tightly and felt his heart race. The cutest boy he had ever had the pleasure of meeting was hugging him voluntarily! Nervously he asked, "Ummm, it's not that I'm scared to ask, I just thought it might make things awkward, but I was just going to ask if you've been with anyone else, like before you met me?" Hark felt nervous and felt a pair of baby blues staring at him and his blush crawled deeper.
Phoenix smiled at his question. "Haey, I'm very happy to say I have never met anyone before you. And most certainly I have never met anyone like you.... Harley.. I like you a lot. More than you probably know.." Phoenix felt his heart explode as he said it. 'Crap why did I just say that?!' He thought to himself as he saw green eyes staring at him. He looked down. He was too nervous to look back up at the beautiful blonde.
His heart literally fucking raced out of his chest, this cutie really liked him, and literally Hark couldn't stop the words from coming out of his mouth as he started to ramble, "I love you! I've never been with anyone else!" His stomach fluttered and the biggest blush yet rose onto his face as he realized what he said so randomly. His hands flew up to hide his face, his arms hiding the red from the other's view. He felt stunned eyes on him, and Hark felt his heart race. 'What if he doesn't like me like that!?' his mind raced to that conclusion in its panic during the long silence.
Phoenix looked at Harley, stunned. "Harley... I love you too" Phoenix leaned over and kissed Harley on the cheek and hugged him as he did. He then laid his head down on Harley's shoulder and smiled.
"So, what do you want to do? When can still go ride some rides. Kings Island is open until 1 in the morning.
Hark felt his heart skip a beat and Hark could now say that this was the best day of his life! "To Kings Island!"
And in a flash they got to king's island!
Phoenix was so happy to be at Kings Island with Harley! He dragged Harley to ever single ride! Even the drop. Even though the blonde as threatening him all the way up in the end Harley still hugged Phoenix when they got off. Phoenix finally got to the Banshee after riding all the other rides. "Ready, Harley?"
"No, not really, but if I live through this you are going to buy something to commemorate this." Hark muttered with his eyes looking up at his doom. At least he was with Phoenix. He found out that lines weren't really packed at night and this would be the last ride of the night, then what would happen?"Assuming that I live after this, what will we do after going here? I don't think I could hold down a whole dinner..."
Then they got barred into the ride and Hark, who had fought numerous battles in crazy odds, was scared for his fucking life.
"Well, we could run away together!" Then Phoenix laughed at the though. He did want to run away, but he didn't know if he could. Phoenix looked up to see all the loops in the roller coaster. He was so excited! He couldn't wait! He turned to Harley and held out his hand just in case Harley was scared.
Hark laughed loudly, and said "I don't think I could leave my sister and her kid behind, and I need to get through school to get a good job. That is, if I live..." Hark made a sound in the back of his throat as they started to ascend and Hark would deny the fact that he screamed like a little girl as they reached the top. "Oh god!" Beside him he heard Phoenix's beautiful laugh and then they disappeared in a loop of whirls.
Phoenix was screaming his head off on the ride. Out of excitement though! He had so much fun on this ride! He couldn't say the same for his beautiful companion. As they got off the ride Phoenix wanted to go again. "I want to go again! Let's go! Pllleesassssseee, Harley?"
Hark wheezed heavily and bent over a trash can, and asked, "What time is it?" Hark tried to breathe and not feel nauseated. Luckily it passed and the others eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. Haw could he say no to that face? "Yeah, sure. Especially since there's nothing left in my gut to empty out."
"Yay! Thank you, Harley! I love you!" Phoenix jumped with excitement and then kissed Harley. He grabbed his hand and led him back up to the line to get on the ride! Phoenix's heart fluttered as he was about to get back on the ride.
Hark touched his cheek gingerly with his free hand, his other hand gripped in the overly excited and cute teenager pulling him along back into hell....ugh. Even though he was going back into crazy town he felt happiness, that would end when he got home alone, or did it...?"Hey Phoenix, you wanna stay the night at my place?"
Phoenix turned around with a big smile on his face. "Hell yea!" He hugged Harley then realized it was time to get on the ride. "Oh! Time to go!" Phoenix ran pulling Harley behind him to the ride.
"ugh, I think i am going to die..." Hark moaned as they got into the car. A small inkling of a sick feeling growing in his stomach as if he had been drinking which he had never done in his life, but he thought this feeling would be very similar to being drunk. "Alright let's go back to my house now! Can you drive? because I am pretty sure I am going to hurl if I see cars go past us..."
Phoenix laughed and took the keys to the car. "Of course I'll drive. But you'll need to give me directions to your house" Phoenix got in the van and started it, then looked over at Harley to wait for directions.
Hark pulled out his phone from his pocket and held a button, "Siri, give me directions to home from current locations." A bing registered, "Finding home from current location, turn right at 14 miles." Hark looked over sheepishly and managed to mutter, "This is just incase I pass out, Siri can help us home."Hark reached beside his seat and reclined back till he was almost vertical and sighed in relief, "Thank you for a great day Phoenix."
Phoenix took the phone and set it on his lap so he could hear Siri. "No problem, Harely. I should be thanking you too" He kissed his fingers then put them on Harley's cheek as a makeshift kiss. He pulled out of the parking lot, following the directions to his Angel's house.
Hark only groaned a little as he felt the finger's brush his cheek, and he nuzzled deeper into a pillow he had gotten from the back seat, muttering a thank you as burrowed his head deep into the pillow and moved his body into a comfortable position with the seat belt. Arriving to the house would only take 50 minutes or so... the blonde fell asleep, trusting the raven completely.
Phoenix drove down the road in complete silence. He did not want to turn on the radio as it might wake Harley. As he drove he was in deep thought. Thinking about his day. He didn't want it to end. He wanted it to stay like this forever. At least he is able to stay the night. Phoenix smiled as he thought about staying over at Harley's house. Nothing could be more better.
The car ride was pleasant and Hark did not wake at all. His dreams consisted of Him and Phoenix having another day together, this time they went to the beach. They ran on the sand and Hark left a shuttered breath as he imagined Phoenix in his swim trunks dripped in water, it was a beautiful dream.
Phoenix pulled into the driveway of Harley's home. He shook him a little to wake him up. "Harley, wake up. We made it. What do we do now?" He then handed Harley the keys as he wiped his tired eyes.
Hark looked up at the medium sized blue house that was illuminated underneath the moonlight. As expected, no lights were on. Hark asked suddenly, "Do you need to go to your house for anything? Like pills or pajamas or anything?" He looked over at the other boy inquisitively.
"I think I'll be good. Unless you want me to go home and get clothes, I think I'll be fine. Besides, I'm getting really tired. I kinda want to go relax and maybe watch a movie for a little bit." Phoenix really wanted to go home so he could take a swig of his alcohol, but maybe tonight would be different if he were with Harley. Maybe he'd be able to sleep with no trouble. He hoped.
A smile appeared on Hark's face as he said, "That's just fine, I think I might have some clothes that might fit you and my mom and dad are out so they'll be back in the morning plus they won't care if you're here...wait...um...are you allergic to cats?" Hark asked as they both got out of the car.
"I'm, kind of but don't worry, I'll be fine. Just as long as I don't pet them or pick them up" Phoenix followed Harley up the the house. Harley unlocked the door and opened the door for Phoenix. Phoenix walked into the warm house then waited for Harley to show him where the bedroom was.
"Oh jeez I am so sorry! I guess we can stay in my room closed off from them, well...except for my special cat Hunter. Don't worry, he stays under my bed and comes out only at night." Hark commented and then walked down a hallway, past a kitchen into his room that was next to the kitchen and living room. "Hey, your real name is Phoenix right?"
