Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments I have just finished Inferno which I enjoyed and rated 4 stars. I think it is my second favourite of the Robert Langdon books.

Level 1 completed! Yay!

Janice (jamasc) | 59894 comments Yay! I enjoyed Inferno, and it's a great way to end your first level.

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments I'm glad you enjoyed 'Inferno' too Janice. I agree, it was a very good way to end the level. Add in my first book, Heir of Novron, and it was a pretty great level all round :)

message 56: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments I am starting my first Level 2 book, The Boy I Love. This is also the start of a brand new trilogy for me.

message 57: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments I finished The Boy I Love which I rated 4 stars. It was thought provoking and quite moving at times and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the trilogy in order to find out what happens to the characters.

It may be a requirement to be in the group. Just kidding!

Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19206 comments lol. I tried a couple of chapters. I'll try again some time when I'm more in the mood. But wasn't for me. I'll be the devil's advocate yet again.

I have been draging my feet too. I know what Sarah and Janice like and part of me just wants to resist, so I am there with you Rusalka. I have them all marked, but have yet to seriously consider purchasing them.

message 63: by Janice, Moderator (new)

Janice (jamasc) | 59894 comments Ah well... it would be boring indeed if we all loved (or hated) the same books.

message 64: by Lisa (last edited Mar 27, 2015 02:18AM) (new)

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments Hey, I won't have any Hadrian and Royce haters/non readers on my thread..... just kidding! ;)

Anne (Booklady) Molinarolo (wwwgoodreadscomAnneMolinarolo) | 1282 comments WTG Lisa!

Don't worry, I'll not say a bad word about any of your series - don't know them.

Lol! As it's you, you can be as rude as you like about my series ;)

Peggy (pebbles84) | 15868 comments I'm shocked! ;-)

I started the Ryiria Chronicles. I was considering not reading them until the third book was published so I could count them as points for the challenge, but I was really in need for some Hadrian and Royce. And I'm loving it just as much as the Revelations!

message 69: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments I have been trying to hold off reading 'The Riyria Chronicles' too until nearer the publication date of the third book but I think I am going to have admit defeat and read them soon. Particularly now I have heard how much you are enjoying them Peggy :)

message 70: by Peggy (new)

Peggy (pebbles84) | 15868 comments And it will still get you 35 points once the third book is out :)

message 71: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments Good point!

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments I have just finished Lamentation which kills off the 'Matthew Shardlake' series.

Now I just need to read two more books to finish off another series and complete Level 2.

message 73: by Janice, Moderator (new)

Janice (jamasc) | 59894 comments How was that series? I managed to get all the ebooks at a really good price.

message 74: by Lisa (last edited Apr 18, 2015 02:34PM) (new)

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments I loved the series Janice. It's one of my all time favourites and I have recommended it to lots of friends and family who have all enjoyed it too. All six books have been 5 star reads for me. They are very well written and I really like Matthew Shardlake as a character. Plus they are set in the Tudor period which is my favourite period of history :) If you enjoy mysteries/murder mysteries I think you will like them.

Janice (jamasc) | 59894 comments Thanks Lisa. I'm looking forward to them. From what you've described, they're right up my alley.

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments I have just killed off Level 2. Yay! It has taken me a while to get here as my challenge pretty much ground to a halt for a few months. It was a pretty good level for me book wise. The last book in the 'Matthew Shardlake' series was brilliant and 'The Boy I Love' trilogy was enjoyable and thought provoking, although not quite as emotionally affecting as I thought it was going to be given the subject matter.

Now for Level 3. I am planning on reading two Robin Hobb series for this level and a few of the books are chunksters so it could be a while before I complete it.

Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19206 comments Yay!

message 79: by Tasha (new)

Tasha I'm glad to see you gave Lamentation 5 star rating. That's on my next level and I'm happy to see you loved it. :)

COngratns on level 2!!

I absolutely adore the 'Matthew Shardlake' series. It's one of my all time favourites. I hope you enjoy Lamentation when you get to it :)

message 81: by Tasha (new)

Tasha I did a quick check on your reviews and I see they have all been 5 stars. Mine have been high too. I'm looking forward to reading through the series in my next level.

Colleen (colls) | 114 comments Congrats on Level 2! I hope you enjoy the Robin Hobb series. I've not read them, but I've heard good things.

Lisa (lisathebooklover) | 9244 comments I finished my first Level 3 book, Ship of Magic, which is the first book in the 'Liveship Traders' trilogy. It was brilliant, I loved it! It's one of the best fantasy books I have read in a while and I cannot wait to read the other two books in the series and find out where things go from here :)

message 85: by Janice, Moderator (new)

Janice (jamasc) | 59894 comments I really want to read Robin Hobb. I've added Ship of Magic to my every growing wishlist.

message 86: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 18550 comments I'm pleased you enjoyed it Lisa. Sounds like it might be a better series than Farseer.

message 87: by Colleen (new)

Colleen (colls) | 114 comments I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! I've been on the fence long enough, I think I'll add it to Mount TBR
