Yes, she is approved for this task. A change of citizenship is not one of the requisites for this one.

Baroness Emmuska Orczy was born in Tarnaörs, Hungary. ... Orczy moved with her parents from Budapest to Brussels and then to London, learning to speak English at the age of fifteen. ... she later married the son of an English clergyman. I don't see any indication that she ever returned to Hungary.
I'm reading Lady Molly of Scotland Yard for 20.5 and am looking at 20.8 for combo points; would she fit? Thanks!

Mike Horn is South African born, but left at the age of about 24 to go on adventures and "settles" in Switzerland (like, in between expeditions).
See: goodreads profile & http://www.mikehorn.com/about-mike/
Does he, and his book "Conquering the Impossible: My 12,000-Mile Journey Around the Arctic Circle, count for this task then?
And does he count as "non-western" or not?

Yeah, I figured, I'm just looking for a place to fit The Jungle Books. I'll put it in 10.1.

It works today for 20.10, from The Wizard of Oz. No need to post over there - I'll put it in the list for you.

Thanks Elizabeth (Alaska)!

Alan was born in Scotland in 1965 where he grew up. He now lives in New York. On 7 November 2008, he became a dual-national and was sworn in as a citizen of the United States of America.

There is little info about Priya Parmar, but since she is dividing time between Hawaii and London, I am going to say no.
Also little info on M.L.Stedman, but since she is living in London now, and think she works.

Thanks!

Derek Miller works. I found two sources confirming that he lives in Norway with his family.

Thanks,
Tobey

Jama/Tobey, Paula Hawkins was accepted for 20.8 in my completed task post 506.

Phew! I thought I was about to lose some points there ;-)

Unfortunately, Rabbit Proof Fence does not fit the task."
Okay -- thanks for reviewing!
